Taxi bosses in the Western Cape are looking to raise taxi fares by between 10% and 14% following the record fuel price hike yesterday.
Bus company Golden Arrows said its fares will remain
at present levels for the time being despite the fuel blackjack increase.
The price of petrol has gone up by 93c and diesel by 69c a litre across the country.
The price of illuminating paraffin, predominantly used by poor households for cooking and heating also rose by 73c a litre. read more
