South Africa needs new strategy to save jobs

It is very clear that stakeholders and shareholders must improve their relations to prevent a further increase in job losses.

And they should come with a new strategy of tackling the ‘job loss’ issue which has been a problem for a very long time.

A study has reveals that the unintended consequences of South Africa’s inflexible labour law environment are beginning to pile up and create a serious risk of a “job recession”, says the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The evidence can be found in the latest Adcorp employment index which shows that employment in the formal sector has declined for the sixth consecutive month.  read more
